Welcome to the Senior Boys Wing!
As the Vice Principal of the Senior Boys Wing (SBW), I have been immensely privileged to lead a team of fifty-six dedicated educators and take care of a wonderful student community of more than nine hundred V to XII graders. I also consider myself very fortunate to be a team member of the PISQ management which is striving diligently to pave a clear path for the all-round success of the students.
The Senior Boys Wing has shown remarkable progress in the recent years by creating an intellectually challenging environment with its rigorous academics and a plethora of co-curricular activities. One of the largest areas of the growth is the increased use of the technology in the classrooms with a view to employing the most updated teaching practices to address the future needs of the students. Our tangible lesson planning, differentiated approach to instruction and continuous assessment system help our students grow into innovate thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners prepared to thrive in the 21st century.
There have been set up as many as fourteen clubs in the wing to nurture the important life skills of the students. Our diverse club activities, well-organised sports and other extra-curricular offerings inspire the boys to make positive choices related to their mental and physical wellness. Their zealous participation in the co-curricular activities has not only triggered their success in the Inter-school competitions but also proven to be beneficial in developing the various domains of their mind and personality.
One of my goals as the Vice Principal – SBW is to maintain a safe environment for the entire student community. I fully understand that teaching good discipline is just as important as teaching any other subject. Therefore, an across-the-board ‘Discipline Plan’ has been enforced in the wing to kindle honesty, empathy, responsibility and anti-bullying behaviour among the students.
