Head Cambridge

Mr. Moazzam Jah joined Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ) in December 2015 as a teacher of English language. His academic and professional qualifications include an MPhil in Applied Linguistics and an M.A in English Language Teaching from Pakistan. He also holds CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults).

Currently, he is serving the school as the Head of Cambridge Wing. This wing is the latest supplement and an extension in the academic portfolio of the school.

Mr. Moazzam’s work experience spans over 20 years. Prior to joining PISQ, he served at the following institutions in Pakistan: University of Management and Technology (UMT), GIFT University, National University of Modern Languages (NUML), KIPS, The Smart School Head Office, Beaconhouse School System, The Educators Head Office, and Aga Khan Education Service (AKESP) Pakistan.

His academic domains of interests are language teaching and learning approaches, psycholinguistics, syllabus designing and curriculum adaptation, semantics, pragmatics, and translation studies. On the pedagogic side, his forte is development of (English) language skills.
